Red Bull Art of the can Miami,,,,,

Well as some of you know i lived in South Beach for five years.

Red Bull Art of The can called me in mid october to submit a piece to the Next

Red Bull Art of the Can in Miami 2010,

In 2007 I designed Go Go Boots for the Philadelphia exhibit and in 2008 I designed a luggage piece using red bull Cans

For this event i took platform shoes and designed a Red Bull theme

These shoes are accepted and will be exhibited 2o10 in South Beach for Red Bull art of the can 2010

Lastly these past two week's my handbags were written up in a Newspaper to promote the Fuller Museum's Body Bazzar event.

Power and Private Lessons

When i think about power I think of electricity and how Thomas Edison invented the first bulb, and there are those people who think of power as money .

I have received a great lesson of witnessing this and will keep the simplicity I view as power.

I spoke about images in the last blog and wanted to talk about family in this one.

It Struck me this past Sunday in a private lesson how two parents integrated there two year old in a Art lesson .

In this particular Private lesson I gave a suggested list of items and we worked on a vintage phone.

For the holidays a Private lesson is a wonderful holiday gift for one person, a family or corporate party.

You will only need lights for power and some good images!

This past month I have had the opportunity to experience viewing some close people in my life uphold there image. There image is so important to them they work very , very hard to keep this image

It makes me realize how much i enjoy working with images and keeping things real for people, and how life is a lot easier this way.

I also had the opportunity to participate in a Barn Sale located in Weston, Massachusetts on 18 Sudbury Road October 23 and 24

This is all furniture that is one of a kind and the furniture can also be custom ordered on theme's of your choice.

Lastly it amazes me the holiday's are coming and images such as your photograph's can be placed on almost anything for that special one of a kind gift.

Love is a Gamble

Love is certainly a gamble and that is the new theme of some Cuff's I am doing, In addition to Gamble people have been commissioning me to do some work to take that Gamble on something one of a kind and different.

This is a Golf Bag that i was commissioned in May to do on a theme of the Ocean, Any picture's you have can be put on things

A few week's ago i went to a wedding and did the invitation on a vace for the bride and groom along with a photo album.

This past month I participated in The Boston Arts Festival ( Sept 12-13) and South End Open Studio's ( Sept 19-20) which are Boston's two very large Juried exhibit's .

Some people have also been preordering Ornaments for christmas on theme's,

The gamble with decoupage is taking something and rolling the dice to have it come out exactly as you want and personalized.

So think about taking a gamble on something this Fall for holiday gifts and do something unique,
