Remembering Elizabeth Lyman

I would like to dedicate this weeks blog to a student of mine Elizabeth Lyman who had taken over 12 classes and 15 decoupage lessons since 2008.

. Her endless devotion to decoupage led to a strong passion of wanting to do cabinets in Key West .
We worked weekly together the last three months to build a proffessional portfolio of the many pieces she did,

One of the last projects she did was a glass bowl, She had put a substance in it that looked like sand and shells, I asked Elizabeth what she put in the bowl to make sand and she replied "Kitty Litter." Her sense of creativity and humor will not be forgotten
Our last meeting was Thursday April 8th., Elizabeth was driving to key west the next day .

Elizabeth was killed by a tractor trailer on Sunday April 11 in Virginia.
My deepest sympathy goes to out to her family and she will be very missed.
