February 2-8 indefatigable

I completed the Notre Dame cuff's by adding the Number of the Players on the cuff's for the Mother's whom son's play on the Softball team

In 2007,2008 I worked for the first time in the South End, with Castle Square Youth Summer program called Peace on the Move. This program was designed for kids and teenagers after school, I designed a Art Curriculum two days a week in 2007.
The goal of this program was to build on Self esteem thru art and selling at a art show at the end of the summer in the South End
This past Monday I met with the director and am planning to help the kids get involved in the YOUTH SHINES auction which is held in May at the Boston Center for Adult Education.
May 20, 2008, 6-8pm Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama, 539 Tremont Street, Boston[CLICK HERE] to purchase tickets!Live & Silent Auctions of art by children & teens, with auctioneer David Brown of WCVB-TV. Join us to benefit the Youth Workers' Alliance & youth programs in our community.Read a great article about young people making art for the auction!
Tuesday Evening was the fourth Decoupage class and it was a snowy evening but all the students showed up and they are doing such wonderful projects! Feb 14 starts the next three day intensive Decoupage class.
Thursday I took a drive to Dedham to Cheeky Diva, This is one of my favorite Boutique's, It is a real hidden treasure, Jacqueline Getz is the owner and has New York feel Boutique located in Dedham, Massachusetts. Thursday new cuffs and handbags were placed in the boutique.
On Friday I submitted a application to a juried exhibit. I tend to save this right before the deadline. It has been a typical behavior for me. Indefatigable is persistence and having been rejected on several occasions i used rejection as a resource to strengthen my work for juried panels . Rather than taking criticism as a personal hit to my art or personally ,i used it as a resource. They are certain rules that i was unaware of and if i did not learn what humility was which i talk about in a past blog than i could of never achieved the goal of being accepted in shows i wanted so much to be a part of. In the past four years I have been accepted to over 15 Juried shows.
So the application is sent and tomorrow without expectation i will continue to be indefatigable with other projects.................................................................
